Overall, the local calls were the majority calls for people in the UK. They had a big lead in front of the other two telephone calls and had always remained at the top throughout the years, although the numbers fluctuated a little bit, which increased steadily from 1995 to 1999 and then dropped slightly after.
As for the national and international calls and mobile calls, they stayed at the same position as well. While national and international calls rose gradually and almost kept it up at the same level as local calls, which was only 10 billion apart, the mobiles call inclined dramatically from under 5 billion to over 45 billion.
At the end, three categories of telephone calls had increased the gap between them and came to a closer point.
